• Describing our work

At Congo Renaissance much of our work is organized into Operating Units. With the Coordination doing the background work we try to structure our field works into areas that require independent department. So far Congo Renaissance has 2 field units: the Advocacy Unit and the Gender Units. Though each unit constitutes an independent area of work, they still complement each other.

In 2009, CoRe is turning 3 and the strategy is to develop an advocy machine to be achieved through four strategic aims:

1. Strengthening the organization and building strong networks
2. Making an impact through a series of activities (policy conferences, workshops and implementing some projects in the Advocacy and Gender Units)
3. Running the website www.congorenaissance.org
4. Promoting the culture of humanity and patriotism and promoting a development culture
